A 37-year-old man was held at the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections in Louisville, Kentucky. On May 16, 2021, he was found unresponsive in a housing unit shortly after 8 a.m., according to Metro Corrections Assistant Director Steve Durham. EMS took him to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead around 3 p.m. Police are investigating, and his name was withheld until his family was notified.
