A 44-year-old man held at the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas was taken to University Medical Center in early April 2021 and died there after a hospital stay. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department described his death as an in-custody death. The department has not released his name or stated a cause of death.
