A man whose name was not recorded was held in the Adams County jail in Nebraska. A crowd of local residents took him from the jail, together with another man held there, and hanged him from a railroad bridge east of town. Both men were killed in this way. The lynching is reported in a local weekly newspaper from December 1899.
