A man died at the Whitfield County Jail in Georgia on or about September 19, 2022, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, which confirmed the death and is investigating it. Family members told WTVC they believe he was arrested on a Sunday and died after noon the following Monday. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has not yet given a cause or manner of death.
