A Seminole man, not named in the account, was put to death by shooting near the Seminole agency in Indian Territory. He was one of two Seminole men executed in this way, as reported in June 1887. The Wichita Eagle reported that a sheriff and a deputy carried out the shooting. According to the report, he faced the firing party calmly.

Cause of death, as reported: Executed by the state. The newspaper account says a sheriff and a deputy shot them by firing squad.
