An unnamed Black man held in the Clarksdale, Mississippi jail was taken from his cell early on October 11, 1915, by a mob of masked men, who killed him. The Richmond Palladium and Sun-Telegram reported the lynching. It also does not say whether jail staff resisted the mob or handed him over.
