A man held at the Tippecanoe County Jail in Indiana was found unresponsive in his cell at about 2 a.m. on May 31, 2022. Jail staff began medical aid and called EMS, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the jail and an Indiana State Police press release. The Indiana State Police are investigating, and his name had not been released at the time of reporting. Sources do not yet give his age, cause of death, or anything about who he was.
