A 15-year-old boy was held at the jail near Eclectic, near Wetumpka, Alabama, together with his father, Peter Louiu. According to The Denison Review, a mob of masked men took both of them from the jail on August 21, 1899, and lynched them. The paper printed the account on August 22, 1899.
