According to St. Louis Medical Examiner data reported by KMOV, a man held at Dismas House of St. Louis, a federal halfway house, died after overdosing on fentanyl, either alone or with other drugs. He was one of eight men found inside the facility who died this way, with the deaths dating from 2021 to 2023. The medical examiner's data, as reported, had not been made public before.
