Medical examiner data reported by KMOV shows that a man died of a fentanyl overdose while held at the Dismas House of St. Louis, a halfway house, sometime between 2021 and 2023. He was one of eight men found inside the facility after overdosing on fentanyl alone or combined with other drugs. KMOV reported that these deaths had not been publicly known before the medical examiner's data came out.
