Two brothers, both Black men surnamed Ware, were being held in the jail at Hampton, Arkansas. Press despatches from Little Rock, Arkansas, report that a mob overpowered the jailer, took the two men from the jail and hanged them. The killings were carried out by the mob, and the reports attribute the account of the hangings to those press despatches.
