Two Black men, whose names are not given in the account, were being moved by an officer to Mansfield, Louisiana, for safekeeping when a mob took them from him near Shreveport. The men were killed. The report, published December 12, 1914, places the killing on December 11, 1914. The officer's response to the mob is not described.
