A man held in the Special Housing Unit at the Guam prison was found unresponsive in his cell on November 27, 2019, according to the Department of Corrections. Prison medics and Guam Fire Department medics took him to Naval Hospital, where he died. The Department of Corrections said an internal affairs investigation was under way and had not released his name.
