A 15-year-old boy was held in a jail with his father when, according to a dispatch datelined Wetumpka, Alabama, a mob of masked men took them out of the jail. The dispatch reports that the mob lynched the boy in August 1899. The Arizona Republican printed the dispatch on August 22, 1899.
