A man, 54 according to the headline, died on March 22, 2021, while being moved within the Downtown Spokane County Jail to its medical services division. Jail staff began treating him before Spokane City Fire and AMR took over, and he was pronounced dead at 12:30 p.m. Spokane County spokesperson Jared Webley said two doses of Narcan were given before he died. The medical examiner has not released his name or the cause and manner of death, and the sheriff's office is investigating.
