A 28-year-old man was found not breathing in his cell at the King County Correctional Facility in Seattle in late March 2024, when an officer came to wake him for dinner. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where he died on March 25, 2024, four days later. The King County Medical Examiner's Office is reviewing the cause and manner of death. The Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention said it is conducting an internal investigation.
