A 26-year-old man held at a Maryland prison was found lying on a walkway with a head injury on the evening of April 11, 2013, and died at a hospital the next day. The Maryland State Police said the injury came from an assault by another person held at the prison. Police said the man who was assaulted was not named in the account they gave, and the other person was identified as a suspect.
