A 53-year-old man died on August 16, 2019, at Sky Lakes Medical Center in Klamath Falls, after being held at the Klamath County Jail. The Klamath County Sheriff's Office said he attempted suicide in a booking cell on August 14, and that corrections deputies restored his pulse before he was taken to the hospital.
