A person held at the Northern Oregon Regional Correctional Facilities in The Dalles, Oregon, was found dead in the early morning of December 7, 2023. Oregon State Police, the Sherman and Wasco County Sheriff's Offices, The Dalles City Police and the Medical Examiner are investigating the death.
