A man held at the Adult Correctional Institutions in Rhode Island died on June 28, 2024. The Rhode Island Department of Corrections, through spokesman J.R. Ventura, said he had reported medical issues before his death and that he was found unresponsive. He was taken to Kent County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The cause and manner of death are pending, and the Rhode Island State Police and the RIDOC Investigative Unit are investigating.
