A 41-year-old woman held at the Pocatello Women's Correctional Center in Pocatello, Idaho, was found unconscious in her cell on a Tuesday afternoon in April 2022. Staff began lifesaving measures and paramedics continued them, and she was pronounced dead at Portneuf Medical Center after life support was discontinued. The Idaho Department of Correction said it is investigating her death as an apparent suicide.
