Two Black men were being held in the Orange County jail in North Carolina. A mob took them out of the jail and shot them. Both men were shot to death after being taken from the jail.
Cause of death, as reported: Taken from custody and lynched. An editorial reprinting a Raleigh paper's account says a mob took two Black men from an Orange County jail and shot them.
