A 39-year-old man died in October 2022 at a hospital in Tallahassee, Florida, a few hours after being taken there from the Leon County jail, where he was held. The Leon County Sheriff's Office said a preliminary investigation found no signs of foul play, and the medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death. The sheriff's office had not released his name pending notification of his family.
