A 39-year-old man from Orlando was held at the Lake County Jail in Florida when he died on January 1, 2017. He was found in his cell during an hourly check, and staff took him to Florida Hospital Waterman, where he later died. The Lake County Sheriff's Office said he hanged himself with a bed sheet. The medical examiner was to perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
