A person held at the Seward County Jail in Kansas died on the morning of October 25, 2017. According to the sheriff's office, Seward County deputies and EMS responded to a report of an unattended death around 5:30 a.m. Undersheriff Gene Ward said deputies saw no foul play. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation was notified and is investigating the death, and its cause and manner remain pending.
