A man died at the Miami County Jail in Kansas on January 27, 2025, the Miami County Sheriff's Office said. Jail staff found him unresponsive in a housing cell early that Monday morning. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death, and no cause has been announced.
