A man died on December 24, 2022, while held at the Adams County Detention Center in Brighton, Colorado. According to the Adams County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a medical emergency in which he appeared to be in distress, and he was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The sheriff's office and the Adams County Coroner's Office are investigating, and the toxicology report that will help determine the cause of death was still pending.
