A man held in a Nebraska jail was taken out on the morning of June 17, 1886, according to a brief dispatch datelined Omaha, and hanged by a masked group. His name is unreadable in the surviving copy of the Savannah Morning News. The dispatch does not give the town or the jail where he was held.
