A person held at the Ouachita Correctional Center in Monroe, Louisiana died on November 5, 2025. The Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office said deputies were called to the facility that day about a medical emergency involving the person. The sheriff's office says security footage shows no signs of foul play. The cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.
