A 54-year-old man died on November 1, 2026, at the Snohomish County Jail in Everett, Washington, a few days after he was placed there. According to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, a corrections deputy found him unresponsive in his cell during medication rounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The sheriff's office said its Major Crimes Unit is investigating and that a clinical review is underway. The Medical Examiner's Office has not yet determined his identity, cause or manner of death.
