One of 17 people whose names were not reported

According to a report from Manila printed in the Evening Times-Republican, sixteen people held at Bilibid prison in Manila died on December 7, 1904, when about 500 of the people held there made a dash for liberty. Forty others were wounded, and several of the wounded were said to be in grave condition.

Cause of death, as reported: Cause not yet determined. A report says the man was one of sixteen prisoners killed in a mass escape attempt at Bilibid prison, but it does not say who fired.
