A man held at the United States Penitentiary Lee, a federal prison in Lee County, died on Friday, October 28, 2016. Officials at the prison said staff found him unresponsive that evening and that he was taken to a medical facility, where he was pronounced dead. The prison said the FBI is investigating his death.
