A man held at the Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center died on May 2, 2023. The Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services said he was found unresponsive in his quarters around 2:30 a.m. that Tuesday. The department said it is investigating and that authorities report no initial sign of foul play. The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death, and his name has not been released pending notice to his next of kin.
