A 51-year-old man died in July 2021 while held at Eastern Correctional Institution in Westover, Maryland. He was found unresponsive in his cell and was pronounced dead at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. The State of Maryland said the investigation is ongoing and that it does not suspect foul play.
