A 29-year-old man died on March 1, 2013, while held at the Marin County Jail, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office. Deputies found him unresponsive in his cell at 4:25 p.m., and he was pronounced dead at 4:58 p.m. The sheriff's office has not released his name, cause of death or manner of death, and an investigation is being carried out by the Novato Police Department and the Sonoma County Sheriff-Coroner.
