A man held at the Unicoi County Jail in Erwin, Tennessee, was found dead in his cell on September 12, 2019. Unicoi County Sheriff Mike Hensley said a preliminary coroner's report cited natural causes as the probable cause of death and that the man had some health issues. The sheriff said an autopsy has been ordered, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was notified, and no foul play is suspected at this time.
