A person held at the Ojibway Correctional Facility in Gogebic County, Michigan, was injured in an assault there on Friday, January 11, 2013, and taken to hospital. The Michigan State Police said the person died the next day, January 12, from injuries sustained in the assault. The state police are investigating with help from the Department of Corrections, and the names of those involved are being withheld.
