A 38-year-old man was found unconscious and unresponsive in a holding cell at the Midtown South Precinct on West 35th Street in Manhattan on Saturday, April 1, 2023. The NYPD said officers called paramedics and gave him medical aid, and he was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
