According to a Houston dispatch printed in the New York Herald on June 25, 1874, this person was one of four people reported taken from a jail in Kerr County, Texas, and hanged. The dispatch says a mob took them from the jail and killed them by hanging. The dispatch is dated June 24, 1874.
