A man held at the Orange County Jail in Texas was found hanging in his cell shortly before 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2025, during checks, officials said. He was taken by ambulance to CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont and died there at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, December 8. The Sheriff's Office has not stated a cause of death.
