A man died in his cell at the Onondaga County Justice Center in Syracuse on Saturday, March 4, 2023. The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office said his death was a suicide and referred the case to the New York State Attorney General's Office. Deputies found him at about 11:00 a.m. The sheriff's office's account of the death is the only one available.
