A person held at Hudson Correctional Facility in Hudson, New York, died on the morning of Tuesday, January 31, 2023. The Daily Gazette reported that State Police responded to the prison at about 6:09 a.m. State Police and the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision's Office of Special Investigations are investigating the death as unattended, and the state Commission of Correction and the county coroner also review such deaths.
