A 37-year-old man died at the El Paso County Jail in Colorado on August 15, 2025. The El Paso County Sheriff's Office said he was found unresponsive in his bunk early that morning and was pronounced dead at 4:57 a.m. The sheriff's office said it found no indication of self-harm, assault, or foul play. It has ordered an investigation and requested an autopsy, and the cause and manner of death are pending.
