The Rhode Island state prison agency said this person died by suicide while held at the Maximum Security prison, one of three suicides it reported in its prisons in recent months. According to the agency, correctional officers found them in their room, and they were later pronounced dead at an outside hospital. The agency has not released the person's name or the date of death. The Rhode Island State Police are investigating.
