A man held in a Colorado jail was taken from it by a mob and killed by hanging, according to a short item in the Bottineau Pioneer, a Dakota Territory newspaper, published June 23, 1894. The newspaper attributes the killing to a mob that took him from the jail. The item is the only source cited for this death.
