A 31-year-old man died in his cell at the North Las Vegas Detention Center, where he was being held. He was found under a mattress during routine checks in the early hours of Thursday, April 6, 2017. North Las Vegas police said a cellmate who had been held at the facility for about a day was held in connection with the death.
