A man held in the St. Tammany Parish Jail was found hanging in his isolation cell around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2021. The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office said he apparently hanged himself. He was taken to an area hospital with a pulse and died there the following day.
