A man held in a Kentucky jail was taken out by a group of masked men who meant to hang him. As they took him, he tried to run and was shot down. His body was then hanged from a tree and shot many times.

Cause of death, as reported: Taken from custody and lynched. A group of masked men took a man from Kentucky jail custody, shot him and hanged his body from a tree.
