A man held at State Correctional Institution Laurel Highlands, a Pennsylvania state prison, died of COVID-19 in November 2020. He was one of eight men from the prison who died that month, during an outbreak that infected more than half of the prison's population. The prison houses many of the state's oldest and sickest men, according to the Inquirer.
