A man in his 40s died on the evening of Tuesday, March 16, 2021, while held at the Plymouth County jail in Plymouth. Correctional staff found him unresponsive and he was taken to a hospital. The Plymouth County Sheriff's office said he died from apparent self-inflicted injuries. As of March 19, his name had not been released while his family was notified.
